Literature Text

You painted the sky blue,
Only to be splattered with gray.
You let me walk on clouds,
Let me fall so easily.

Nothing could seperate us,
Never to be divided.
I told you all my secrets,
Believed all your lies.

When the rain would never cease,
I gave you my umbrella;
Not knowing you'd let me soak.
I gave you my whole heart:
Now it's ripped, piece by piece.

Now, as we say our goodbyes,
Words just can't come out.
I keep telling myself that it's clear;
You are not worth the tears.
